  • This stacking chair was proto-typed by Fritz Hansen in 1956. originally designed to be produced in beech. Unfortunately, the laminated seat support was thought to be too expensive to produce using the technology of the day.
  • The chair was again proto-typed in 2004 by Carl Hansen and Son and was put into permanent productionthe following year.
  • Carl Hansen have named this design "The Elbow Chair."
